Pennsylvania Public TV Advocacy Day JUNE 30, 2009

Pennsylvania Public TV Advocacy Day -Tuesday, June 30, 2009 !!!
Dear Fellow Public Television Advocates:
Please communicate with your elected officials about the need to continue funding public television in Pennsylvania. Public TV is still not in the state's budget and, once again I need to ask every one to help. I would like for you to join me in a single-day grand communication with Harrisburg.
I've identified 10 key decision-makers, who need to hear from you before the budget year ends at midnight on June 30. I would like you to send emails to these lawmakers or to telephone their local and state offices with your desire for continued support of all of Pennsylvania's cultural resources-arts, museums, libraries, and public television. Please click and visit Pennsylvania Public TV Advocacy Day http://www.wqln.org/advocate/june30.aspx?sid=state.

+++On this web page you'll find phone numbers of key representatives on the budget committee. The site also has a telephone script for you to use when calling. Make as many calls as possible. The site also features a simple email tool that you can use to send (with a single click of a button) a note to the entire committee. Don't do this today-wait until Tuesday, June 30. To help you remember, here is information for you to copy and paste into your electronic calendar:

Thanks so much for your help. Together we can protect Public Television in Pennsylvania.
We also need to get a budget passed, so I get paid.
