What's New in Lancaster County, PA=LANCO



  • The Pfaltzgraff Factory Outlet, a mainstay of Rockvale Outlets on Route 30, for at least 20 years, is closing by year-end. Got to call and report this to MOM.
  • Mojo Asian Cuisine and Sushi Bar opened Sept. 9 in the Shoppes at Bloomfield, across from Brethren Village along Lititz Pike.The roughly 100-seat restaurant features sushi and other Japanese dishes, as well as Chinese and Thai items. Average entree prices are in the $15 area. The restaurant is owned by the same family that runs Cafe East in Centerville.
  • Gusto Restaurant will open the first week of October at 335 N. Queen St.The restaurant is being developed by Ralph Mazzochi, of Mazzi in Leola, and Gus Photis, of The Village nightclub in Lancaster.During the summer, the inside of the restaurant got an extensive renovation, including an entirely new bar.Gusto's menu will include dishes from the Mediterranean region, including Italian and Spanish dishes.
