Beer Drinkers' Bill of Rights

We, the citizens of this Commonwealth, have the right as free Americans to have retailers compete for our business by offering:

  • Clean, well-lighted and safe family environments
  • Competitive prices
  • Convenient locations
  • One-stop shopping for food, beer, gasoline, etc.
  • Opportunities to buy beer in the quantities that suit my needs
  • Improved access to local Pennsylvania beers
  • A healthy, smoke-free environment
  • A demonstrated and serious commitment to preventing under-age sales
  • Superior customer service and courtesies

If you support the Beer Drinkers' Bill of Rights, do something! Sign the petition, contact your legislator and tell him or her that you're thirsty for change, or join the Beer Brigade!

The first shot for the Beer Revolution was fired at the state capitol on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. The battle's commander-in-chief, Sen. John Rafferty (R-Montgomery) and hundreds rallied to take the first step to change Pennsylvania's beer laws. Now, we need you to enlist and to contact your own legislators to ask them to support Rafferty's beer bill. Join the Better Beer Laws Campaign so that you can buy beer in your neighborhood convenience or grocery store. Contact your legislator now.
