I am a little late about posting this but....In Spring of 2008, it was announced that the next album from Lucinda Williams wrapped recording in March and will be scheduled for an August/Sept. 2008 release.
In Summer of 2008, Lost Highway Records announced that 10 live CDs from Lucinda's Los Angeles and New York performances in 2007 will be made available to fans. Fans can currently purchase these at her shows. Each CD features a different album played live each night. These albums include the self titled Lucinda Williams, Sweet Old World, Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, Essense and World Without Tears. Some of the many special guests on these live CDs include Steve Earle, Allison Moorer, Mike Campbell, Ann Wilson, Emmylou Harris, Jim Lauderdale and Shelby Lynne.
