Updates on additions to Lancaster City eateries

College Row cafe
WOW Cafe and Wingery will open March 30 at 721 Harrisburg Pike in College Row, the retail strip at Franklin and Marshall College. The restaurant will have 125 seats inside and 25 outside. It features burgers, wraps, salads and such Louisiana fare as gumbo and catfish. The franchise is known for its chicken wings, which can be ordered with 20 different sauces and dressings. The cafe will have a liquor license and about 40 employees. Hours: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

New Frank's Place
A new Frank's Place is slated to open in mid-May at 454 New Holland Avenue, next to the Science Factory and PLUM STREET. The sandwich shop will revive the Frank's Place that operated for 20 years at North Lime and East Frederick streets. That restaurant closed after an August 2006 fire. Frank Maounis owns the restaurant with his wife, Laurel, and Nancy Doskocil. He said it will feature pizza, sandwiches, chicken wings, soups and salads. The roughly 2,000-square-foot restaurant on New Holland Avenue will have seating for about 55, with some outside. Hours will extend from about 10:30 a.m. to about 9 p.m., closing later on the weekend.
