Philip Johnson and Lancaster PA

Last week in the local newspaper for Lancaster, Pa: "Intelligencer Journal" their was a short notation and picture of the progress of the Pennsylvania Academy of Music 's new building. They described the progress of the building and noted that the architect was the well known Philip Johnson. Philip Johnson is more than well known, you morons, he is a world renowned architect. This is a link to the Academy's web site where you can see updates via to webcams on the buildings progress:http://www.pamusacad.org/facility-new.php

This is how the PA Academy's describes the project:

Designers of the new building are noted architects Philip Johnson and Alan Ritchie, who designed the AT&T Headquarters in New York City, among other significant structures. The exterior of the Academy’s new building will feature a glass facade framed with stone colonnades. Its interior will provide spacious and highly functional teaching studios, rehearsal spaces, a reading/listening library and office suites..
Significantly, the new building will include a 350-seat performance hall that will provide superb acoustics for concert, recitals, and recording. Acoustical designer Cyril Harris of New York, whose work includes the Kennedy Center and the Metropolitan Opera House, collaborated on a design that will add a world-class concert venue to the facilities available to Academy students and the community.
Sorry the photo didn't turn out well.
